I bought the 20 piece set on sale and could kick myself for not ordering more. The flatware looks elegant with my china and modern with my everyday dishes. They have a really nice weight. Each piece is a little over-sized - compared to what I had. This flatware was truly better than I anticipated and all that I had hoped for.

I bought this flatware from Target a couple of days ago. It is an absolutely gorgeous set, but, unfortunately, I had to return it.
All of the pieces are heavy, and this particular set is high maintenance. In the care note it said hand wash only and not to use detergent with lemon in it (which I use all the time).I would recomment Shangri-La if you want to impress your picky guests, and don't mind washing your dishes by hand after they leave.I would not recomment it for your family to use everyday, especially if you have smaller children.

I ordered this set due to the fact that my previous flatware was thin and terribly vicious to my hands. Using these, however, has been a real treat. The weight of the flatware is well balanced, heavier than most sets I've handled and the finish is spectacular. The shaft of each piece is rounded granting the user a comfortable, large grip while cutting or swirling. I particularly enjoy the knives that accompany the set with their deco designed blades. I'm very happy with this set. My girlfriend absolutely loves them as well.
