Contact your local museum, they can put you in touch with an appraiser in your area.

An antique jewellery shop, or any other jeweller. They may or may not charge you. Remember, that their quote doesn’t guarentee that someone would pay that much for it. I was quoted $100 for a ring, which I couldn’t sell anywhere except ebay, for $20.

It is worth no where near what you are thinking it is worth. If it is a simple silver beaded necklace then 50 might be the best you can do. People sometimes misunderstand the meaning of antique, rare, or old.
