How much is a Silver Teapot worth?

I have a Silver Teapot, was wondering what it could be worth, the outside is old looking with a patina finish (possibly antique), The inside is amazingly shiny Must be Silver. . . any ballpark figures?

Just make sure that it is silver and not just silver plated.

Silver is at the lowest price in two years now. Wait a while before you ask this question again.

It will vary on age, condtion, size, thickness, weight, amongst other things.

You can check the link below to see what things are going for on ebay. That’s what people are willing to pay, not necessarily what its worth. Remember our economy isn’t doing very well.

Look up Replacements. They have a website & are located in Greensboro, NC. Look on the bottom of the teapost for any markings that they can use to identify the maker & how old it is & whether it is pure silver or silverplate. You can send them photos of the teapot & markings & they will tell you what they would pay for it. They resell, so you might get more for it selling it yourself on ebay or an antique store or whatever, but that should give you some idea of its value.
